About us
Introduction
Music House is the first music-based international private educational institution in Budapest, which was established with the aim of enabling children of kindergarten and nursery age to learn and master English in an entirely English-speaking environment. We also offer many subjects not limited to music including language preparation, P.E., mathematics and arts and crafts etc.
When we founded Music House, our primary goal was to create an educational environment in a homely, safe, bright and cheerful building filled with toys and musical instruments, perfect for raising the next generation. We truly believe that Music House is a child-centric and family-centric institution which meets each child’s individual needs and adapts to his or her abilities.
We reached a new exciting milestone in September 2020, as Music House expanded into a second building located just two minutes walk away from our original building. In our original building, there is the Music House International Learning Centre & Daycare (Music House Nursery, Viharhegyi út 19/C) and in our second building there is the Music House International Kindergarten and Preschool (Remetehegyi út 183).
The educational and pedagogical programmes of the two institutions – in which the English language and music play a central role – feed into each other and the curriculum serves our children from the age of 20 months up to preschool age (6-7 years).
In our quiet corner of the Buda Hills, we have fenced and well-kept gardens (360 square metres and 380 square metres) with large grassy areas and playground equipment designed, built and installed to current EU standards.
Our classrooms are modern, bright and well-equipped. Additionally, we also have music rooms, libraries and gyms. Most importantly however, we provide a loving family atmosphere in which education and school preparation is professionally provided.
In addition to qualified, experienced mother tongue teachers, specialists, counsellors and permanent helpers are available in our groups, thus ensuring continuous care and employment tailored to the age group and the individual.
